Advisory Board

Jessica Guo

Serves as a Managing Director at UBS International, currently the largest private wealth management firm by assets in the world. She is the founder of the Guo Group, a wealth management practice that provides investment advice and multi-generation wealth planning strategy for clients living across the United States as well as internationally. Working with a select group of clientele, Jessica and her multilingual team offer the personal touch of a boutique investment firm along with the investment insights and global resources offered at UBS. Prior to joining UBS Financial Services, Jessica served as Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, where she had worked for 14 years. Jessica has been ranked“Five Star Wealth Manager” by the Boston Magazine for six consecutive years since 2010, an award that was rendered to the top 5%-7% advisors in the Boston area.

Tony Zhang

is Vice President, Corporate Banking, Middlesex Savings Bank, a 180 year-old mutual bank in Massachusetts. Prior to Middlesex Savings Bank, Tony was Vice President of Bank of Boston (now Bank of America), Vice President of RBS Citizens Bank, and Sr. Vice President of Sovereign Bank (now Santander). Tony has financed many privately owned companies and some Fortune 1000 companies. Tony is also currently Founder and Director, Asia-America Chamber of Commerce, a network of New England based companies doing business in and with Asia. Tony also served as Director at Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management Alumni Association, New England Minority Supplier Development Council, and Overseas Chinese-American Entrepreneurs Association. Tony holds a BA from Beijing Normal University, an MA from Beijing Foreign Studies University, and an MBA from Boston College.

Kara Reinhardt Block, MD

After graduating from Princeton University with an AB in East Asian Studies, Kara lived in Washington, DC, where she worked in health policy with a focus on medically-underserved populations. She graduated from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA and completed her residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center. In 2010, she and her husband, Jason, moved to Wellesley, where they have two boys in public elementary school. Currently focused on raising her children, Kara recruiting for and served on the 2015 search committee for a new director at the Wellesley Montessori School. Kara is the PTO volunteer coordinator at her children’s school, a role that grew out of her involvement on the organizing committees for the school’s two major regular fundraisers. Since its inception, Kara has served on the organizing committee for the Wellesley Free Library Foundation’s annual mini-golf fundraiser was recently appointed to the Foundation’s board of directors. She also serves on the parent committee at the Wellesley Chinese Language school. Kara enjoys being a parent coach for town soccer and maintains a strong interest in food, Tudor history, amateur photography, healthy policy and activism.
